SRCEA members include higher education faculty members in educational administration and related fields, community college faculty and administrators, doctoral students in educational administration and leadership, and P - 12 practitioners (teachers, principals, supervisors and superintendents) who wish to grow professionally and share research experiences with colleagues.

The organization encourages participation by members of all groups as a means of fostering professional growth and establishing collaborative efforts in the improvement of educational administration and leadership.

SRCEA primarily serves 14 states in the southern United States, but everyone is welcome!

The Southern Regional Council of Educational Administration (SRCEA) has a proud tradition of excellence.  It serves faculty, graduate students, universities and colleges throughout the southern region of the United States.  SRCEA is the collective voice of outstanding scholarship at its annual conferences, its yearbook, and now its online journal, Southeast Journal of Education Administration.

Southern Regional Council of Education Administration is published as a forum for presentation and discussion around describing and interpreting school leadership issues and policy.  It offers a scholarly marketplace for ideas from research and best practice that inform and challenge current thinking about educational leadership. The Journal is not limited to university faculty, but encourages graduate students and practitioners to contribute to its scholarship.
